A person was declared dead on Monday morning after Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies fired gunshots at the person at a Claremont gas station.
The incident at 888 Indian Hill, at the border of Claremont and Pomona, took place around 9:30 a.m., according to the sheriff's department.
Aerial footage showed a knife on the ground, near the dead person.
No further information is available at this time.
