The Jalen Duren and Detroit Pistons saga has taken another turn as the team has reportedly offered a larger deal than ever before.
ESPN's Shams Charania has revealed that the Pistons current offer is $200 million over five years, but it is still uncertain whether he will be a part of the Detroit team as of media day in a week.
"The Pistons and Jalen Duren are at an impasse and it's highly up in the air and questionable as to whether he will be reporting and showing up for media day in just 7 days," Charania reported.
"Over the last several weeks been kind of quiet on this front. The sides have picked up communication. And I am told right now the Pistons offer to Jalen Duren is $200M over 5 years."

Multiple teams could be interested in Duren
Duren has received many different offers from the Pistons, but since he has, according to earlier reports, felt disrespected by the team, the chances of him staying with Detroit long term seem slimmer and slimmer each day.
The young center has been linked with the Sacramento Kings all offseason, but ESPN's Tim MacMahon has revealed that more teams could be interested in the All-Star if he becomes available next year in free agency after taking a qualifying offer or in a sign-and-trade this year.
"I'll just say the Kings won't be the only one," MacMahon teased.
