A 2023 Commanders seventh-round pick, Jones will reunite with Dolphins special teams coordinator Chris Tabor. The fourth-year linebacker worked with the veteran ST coach in Buffalo last year. After the Bills gave Jones a reserve/futures deal in January, he ended up on their practice squad following roster cuts. The Dolphins must carry Jones on their 53-man roster for at least three weeks due to poaching him off another team’s P-squad.
