The New York Giants just can't catch a break in Week 2. After Jaxson Dart was ruled out for their game with a leg injury, New York lost another star player to a leg injury. Pass rusher Brian Burns was helped off the field after suffering what looks to be a leg injury.

Burns is just one of the many players on the Giants who suffered an injury at some point during the game. We've already talked about Dart: the young quarterback suffered a nasty leg injury in the first quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the game. The good news for New York is that Dart was seen on the sidelines after being checked out, standing on his own power.
Star wide receiver Malik Nabers also had a scare of his own in the second quarter after a hard collision. The Giants star's shoulder had to be checked out, but he was cleared to go back into the game and finished the contest with no issues. Offensive tackle Andrew Thomas also had to be checked out after New York's final offensive drive, though there are no updates on that front yet.
After an encouraging start to the season, New York suffered a brutal defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Without Dart as their quarterback, New York's offense was only able to generate two field goals for a total of six points. The Giants' defense was also outmatched against the Rams: even with star wide receiver Puka Nacua out with a hip injury, LA still scored four touchdowns on the New York defense.
The Giants will travel back home to take on the 0-2 Tennessee Titans in Week 3.
