The Chelsea Chronicle have rounded up every Chelsea player who will be representing their nations during this international break, and when they will be set to play.
European sides are getting their Nations League campaigns underway, with the prospect of Chelsea players lining up against each other a very real possibility.
Meanwhile, some lucrative friendlies will allow Estevao Willian the chance to get some much needed minutes in the tank before trying to force his way into Xabi Alonso’s plans.
Every senior Chelsea player’s fixtures this international break
Let’s take a look at every senior Chelsea player who will be representing their nation over the next three weeks…
Emiliano Martínez and Valentin Barco – Argentina
Opportunities are likely to be handed around the Argentina squad throughout this international break due to the fact they are playing three lower-level opposition.
This could see Emi Martinez rotated for the first time in a while, while Valentin Barco may get the chance to build on his first Premier League start for Chelsea.
Argentina start the break off against Bolivia on Wednesday 30 September, before hosting Burkina Fason and Benin on 3 October and 6 October.
Mike Penders and Romeo Lavia – Belgium
The opportunity is there for Mike Penders to make his debut for Belgium after Thibaut Courtois asked to be left out of the squad for the upcoming Nations League clashes.
Romeo Lavia will be hoping his strong start to the season, both in form and fitness, will be enough to see him earn some minutes too.
Their mini-campaign kicks off with a trip to Italy this Friday, before hosting France on Monday 28 September. Then, they will welcome Turkey on Friday 2 October, before ending the campaign with a rematch against France on Monday 5 October.
Estevao Willian – Brazil
Estevao Willian is the only Chelsea representative in Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad, after Joao Pedro withdrew from action due to a minor injury.
The youngster is set to line up for consecutive friendlies against Australia on Friday 25 September and Tuesday 29 September, before they face India on Saturday 3 October.
With limited minutes on offer so far at Stamford Bridge under Xabi Alonso, this is Estevao’s best chance at proving his worth to his manager for both club and country.

Morgan Rogers – England
Cole Palmer’s withdrawal means it is just Morgan Rogers in the England squad this time around, as they start their Nations League campaign.
England get things underway against Spain at home on Saturday 26 September, before facing Czechia on Tuesday 29 September.
Then, they will travel to Croatia on Saturday 3 October, before finishing the extended break with a home game against Czechia again, this time on Tuesday 6 October.
Maxence Lacroix – France
Maxence Lacroix will be hoping that William Saliba’s injury woes could hand him the chance to earn more caps for France during this international break.
They start away to Turkey on Friday 25 September, before visiting Penders and Lavia’s Belgium on Monday 28 September.
Friday 2 October will see France host Italy, before a rematch with Belgium on Monday 5 October.
Jorrel Hato – Netherlands
Netherlands will make themselves favourites to win their Nations League group, with Jorrel Hato the sole Chelsea representative in the squad.
They host Germany on Thursday 24 September, before visiting Serbia on Sunday 27 September and Greece on Thursday 1 October.
Hato’s last chance to feature for his country during this time will come on Sunday 4 October, when they host Serbia again.
Pedro Neto – Portugal
Pedro Neto and Portugal’s campaign kicks off with a home match against Wales on Thursday 24 September, before travelling to Norway on Sunday 27 September.
They will then make the short journey to Denmark to play on Thursday 1 October, before rounding off the break against Norway on Sunday 4 October.
It remains to be seen whether new Portugal manager Jorge Jesus decides Neto would be better off as a winger or a wing-back, where he has featured for the majority of this season for Chelsea.
