Jaxson Dart was injured after taking a rough hit
Jaxson Dart came off the field injured in the first quarter in a nightmare evening for the New York Giants against the Los Angeles Rams at the SoFi Stadiumk on Monday night
Jaxson Dart's night ended with a brutal first-quarter hit in the New York Giants' heavy defeat to the Los Angeles Rams.
The quarterback, who has shown plenty of promise with his ability since arriving with the team, only missed two games through injury last season. But a brutal hit from two Rams players on Monday raised fears that he could miss more this year.
The injury came on the Giants' first drive, with Dart ending the game with three of five throws and with only 20 yards. Backup quarterback Jameis Winston replaced the 23-year-old but looked thoroughly uncomfortable throughout. Dart did try to return to the game but the Giants denied his request.

4-6 weeks?!
Giants fans were deeply concerned after a clip quickly circulated on social media, appearing to show a trainer having hushed words with head coach John Harbaugh. Amateur lip readers and internet sleuths decided that the trainer said, "Looking like 4-6 weeks." They also decided that the conversation was about Dart.
