Alisson is working with his fourth goalkeeping coach in the last three years at Liverpool, with David James revealing a conversation about Alejandro Rosalen.
Rosalen was appointed as Liverpool’s new first-team goalkeeping coach in July, following five years in a similar role with Napoli.
It comes after a merry-go-round of coaches since John Achterberg ended his 15-year stay at Anfield, with Fabian Otte, Xavi Valero and now Rosalen filling the gloves.
Alisson also saw compatriot Claudio Taffarel leave Liverpool last year, but is happy with his first months working with the current incumbent.
“I’ve just had a quick chat with him and he likes his new coach,” former Liverpool goalkeeper James told LFCTV after Sunday’s 1-0 win at Bournemouth.

It has been an impressive start to the season from Alisson, who looked to be on his way out over the summer as a move to Juventus beckoned – only to stay and commit himself to the Reds.
He continued his standout form with a stunning save to deny Evanilson, with James singling that out as one of the key moments of the game.
“We talked about it before the game about a new goalkeeping coach,” he continued.
“It was a highly impressive save to start with, but a fundamentally important save for the 1-0 win.”

With a change in the dugout as Andoni Iraola replaced Arne Slot and the majority of the Dutchman’s backroom staff needing to be replaced, the hope is that Liverpool can now find stability.
After cycling through goalkeeping coaches, the ideal scenario would be for Rosalen to establish himself as part of the club for the long term.
There remains a possibility that Alisson will stay beyond the end of the season too, with The Athletic’s James Pearce reporting that a decision is yet to be made over his future one way or the other.

Having been open to joining Juventus and previously expressing a desire to close out his career back in Brazil, it is clear that Alisson will keep his options open. But success this season, and the support of Rosalen, could help convince him to stay as Liverpool’s No. 1 for at least one more year.
