Tim Cahill and Everton favourites set for Goodison return this weekend

**Tim Cahill will captain a team containing several former [Everton](https://readeverton.com/) players when football returns to Goodison Park this weekend.**

The former Blues midfielder will lead Team Merseyside against a Rest of the World XI in Game4Hope on Saturday, with the charity match raising money for Everton in the Community and Shelter’s work tackling homelessness.

The fixture was originally due to take place at the Hill Dickinson before being switched to Goodison, meaning several former Everton players will get another opportunity to play at their old home.

Cahill will be joined by Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka, Gareth Barry, Louis Saha and Joleon Lescott, while former Everton midfielder Peter Reid will share managerial duties with John Barnes.

There are some big names on the other side too. Brazilian World Cup winner Rivaldo will captain the Rest of the World, with Cafu, Clarence Seedorf, Jaap Stam and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink among those due to be involved. Former Everton striker Yakubu has also been announced as part of the Merseyside squad.

Tinie will perform at half-time, while the game kicks off at 4.45pm on Saturday and will be shown live on 5, with coverage beginning at 4pm. The match will raise funds for Everton in the Community and Shelter, supporting their work tackling homelessness on Merseyside and across the country.

Tickets remain available, with adult prices starting at £15 for Everton season-ticket members. General-sale adult tickets are £25, while under-16 tickets are £10 for season-ticket members and £15 on general sale.
