**9\. Cornerback Kristian Fulton logged his first interception of the season.**
Fulton showed off his strength early in the game when he ripped the ball away from Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen on a contested throw.
It was the Chiefs' second consecutive game with an interception, and for Fulton, it marked his first with Kansas City.
**10\. The Chiefs' defense came up clutch when it mattered most.**
There were a handful of snaps the Chiefs' defense would have liked back on Sunday night, but when it mattered most, Kansas City made the plays it needed to win the game.
Notably, with 40 seconds remaining in the game, the Colts faced a 3rd-and-4 at midfield and seemed to be marching toward a game-winning field goal attempt. Kansas City made sure that didn't happen, however, as edge-rushers George Karlaftis and Felix Anudike-Uzomah rushed the throw and forced an incompletion.
Then, in overtime, Kansas City was tasked with holding Indianapolis to just a field goal following a 50-yard completion that set the Colts up at the Kansas City 17-yard line. A Colts touchdown would end the game, but instead, the Chiefs held Indianapolis to just two net yards over the next three snaps. The Colts settled for a field goal, and the rest is history.
The Chiefs will now look to put together another strong performance this upcoming weekend as Kansas City hits the road for the first time this year to take on the Miami Dolphins.
