Mishel Nduka has shared a picture of himself signing his contract with Man City.

The teenager took to Instagram to confirm his arrival from Arsenal, captioning the image with four words: “Let’s get to work”.

Nduka is a highly regarded England youth international who had spent a year with the Gunners before opting not to extend his stay at their Hale End Academy.

The 16-year-old is now at the Etihad Campus, where he is expected to link up with Oliver Reiss’s Under 21 squad or Lauris Coggins’ Under 18s.

What do fans need to know about Nduka?

The youngster came through the ranks of Charlton Athletic before he decided to move to North London last year.

During his time at Arsenal, Nduka made appearances at Under-19 level in the UEFA Youth League, while he has also played in the Under-18 Premier League.

Despite his age, the midfielder was also given game time for the Under 21s in Premier League 2, playing against both Liverpool and Sunderland last season.

For England, Nduka has been capped 7 times at Under 16 level, and he was recently called up for the first time by the Under 17s, along with new teammates Theo Carrington, Oliver Houlihan, Prince Otabor Osifo, Xavier Parker, Darren Motsi and Javahn Woode.

He could feature in the friendlies against Republic of Ireland, Israel, Venezuela and Germany.

Man City have been adding players to their academy

Nduka is the latest player to strengthen the Manchester club’s youth ranks. Jeremy Monga was signed for £12.5m from Leicester City, while Pierce Charles was re-signed from Sheffield Wednesday.

Unlike Nduka, though, both of those players have already made their senior debuts. Monga has subsequently been sent out on loan to Swansea City to aid his development, while Charles has gone to Queens Park Rangers.
