The [Boston Celtics](https://nesn.com/boston-celtics) have multiple players featured in [ESPN's Top 100 NBA player rankings](https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/49965238/nba-rank-2026-players-100-51-featuring-zion-dybantsa-peterson-boozer-more) entering the 2026-27 season.
Payton Pritchard comes in at No. 70 after making a significant jump from his No. 97 ranking last year. The 28-year-old guard averaged career highs across the board in 2025-26, posting 17.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.
Pritchard also started a career-high 50 games last season after making just 17 starts during his first five NBA seasons.
New Celtics forward Paul George ranks No. 67, falling from No. 54 in ESPN's 2025 rankings. Boston acquired the 36-year-old as part of the blockbuster trade that sent Jaylen Brown to Philadelphia.
George averaged 17.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 55% from the 3-point range during Philadelphia's first-round series win over Boston last season.
ESPN has yet to reveal where Jayson Tatum will land in its rankings. The Celtics star will be feature somewhere in the Nos. 11-50 (released Wednesday) range or inside the top 10 (released Thursday).
With Tatum still to come, Boston could have at least three players featured among ESPN's Top 100.
