Xavi Simons has hooked up with two of Boston's sporting superstars during a training camp in the United States.
Our popular Dutch playmaker has travelled Stateside for the camp as he recovers from the ACL injury he sustained in April - a trip to provide Xavi with a change of environment as he continues his rehabilitation.
During his time in Boston, Xavi has spent time with Boston Celtics basketball great Jayson Tatum and Boston Bruins ice hockey legend David Pastrnak.
Xavi meets Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum
Tatum won the NBA with Celtics in 2024 and is a six-time NBA All-Star. He also helped the USA win gold at both the 2020 and 2024 Olympics. He has also recovered from serious injury to return to action after rupturing his Achilles in 2025.
Meanwhile, during his work at the facility of NHL team Bruins, Xavi exchanged jerseys with Pastrnak, a Czech international and 2024 World champion.

Pastrnak is a four-time NHL All-Star - and the right winger was named one of the top 100 best Bruins players of all-time in 2024.
He also visited us back in 2023 - check out the photo of David with his Bruins team-mates at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium below.

Xavi also took time out to surprise our Boston Spurs Official Supporters’ Club at LongCross Bar and Kitchen on Saturday morning, where members met to watch our Premier League encounter against Villa.
Xavi’s training camp has also taken in Baltimore, where he worked at NFL side Baltimore Ravens' training facility and met the likes of Spurs fan Kyle Hamilton, **[who visited Hotspur Way last summer](https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/1000088/spurs-stories-nfl-star-kyle-hamilton-its-always-been-spurs-for-me)**.
