As we turn the page to Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season, it's time to go around the NFL and check out updates players who didn't suit up in Week 2, and others who were hurt over the course of this past weekend.

Among those injury updates are Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers.

Here's the latest on those three players and many more.

Saquon Barkley injury update

Barkley exited the Week 2 game before returning, but he ultimately didn't finish the contest.

After the game, Barkley revealed he has a stinger and "will know more in the future" after getting an MRI, according to Tim McManus of The Athletic. Head coach Nick Sirianni did not provide an injury update on Monday.

If it is indeed a stinger, there's a chance Barkley could play in Week 3, and he'll have an extra day to get right because the Eagles play on Monday.

Philly will drop its first injury report of the week on Thursday.

Brock Bowers injury update

Bowers had a meniscus procedure done prior to Week 1 and was forced to sit out Week 2, also.

However, the expectation is he will be good to go for Week 3, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter (H/T SleeperNFL)

"I would be surprised if Brock Bowers wasn't back on the field this week for the Las Vegas Raiders," Schefter said on The Pat McAfee Show.

Puka Nacua injury update

Nacua was a game-time decision on Monday night with his (hip/groin) issue, but he was ultimately ruled out after testing out his injuries.

Head coach Sean McVay said after the game that he's hopeful Nacua will return in Week 3, but he didn't make any promises.

"I'm not sure what his status is as far as this next coming week. I'm hopeful that he'll play," McVay said, per Stu Jackson of TheRams.com.

Jadarian Price injury update

Price suffered a chest injury in Week 2 that forced his early exit from the game.

X-Rays came back negative and head coach Mike Macdonald revealed the issue "shouldn't be a long-term thing."

For now, we'd put his status as questionable, at best. Seattle will drop its first injury report on Wednesday, so we'll know more then.

Zay Flowers injury update

Flowers aggravated his hamstring injury in Week 1 and did not play in Week 2.

The good news is, Flowers has a "good shot" to play in Week 3, Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter told reporters on Monday, per Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com.

Caleb Williams injury update

The Ringer's Tom Pelissero reported on Monday that Williams has avoided a significant injury to his hamstring and there is even a chance he could play in Week 3 against the Eagles.

Head coach Ben Johnson labeled Williams week to week but noted how his quarterback is capable of recovering quickly, which leaves the door open for Williams to play.

"He's right now working through every avenue that he's got available to get back on track here. We'll see what that looks like. Here's what I know. This guy's a little bit different than the average human being," Johnson said, per ESPN's Courtney Cronin.

"I said that last night, I'll double down on that. He gets back - he has in the past - a lot faster than what people can anticipate and so I'm not putting a timeline on this. We’re going to say week to week. He's going to attack this with everything that he knows."

Williams has an extra day to get healthy this week with his game on Monday, so that increases his odds of playing. Chicago will put out its first injury report on Thursday.

Jayden Daniels injury update

Daniels has indeed suffered a dislocated elbow, his second in as many seasons.

The good news is, it isn't a season-ending issue, head coach Dan Quinn said. The bad news is, we don't know how long he will be out.

It took Daniels a month to recover from his last dislocated elbow, so expect it to be about that long this time around.

J.K. Dobbins injury update

The Ringer's Tom Pelissero reported that Dobbins, who left the Week 2 contest early, should be "good" after his hamstring injury, although we don't know if he will miss time.

Head coach Sean Payton didn't sound too worried about it, so it looks like Dobbins will miss minimal time if he is forced to sit out.

Mike Evans injury update

Evans exited Sunday's contest because a hip issue, but head coach Kyle Shanahan noted that he could have finished if the game was close.

For now, Evans looks like he'll be fine for Week 3.

Alec Pierce injury update

After dealing with a heel issue recently, Pierce aggravated the injury on Sunday night and will attempt to rehab it instead of opting for surgery, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The expectation is Pierce will miss "several weeks," Rapoport added, but the hope is he'll be back by midseason.

Dallas Goedert injury update

Goedert has been diagnosed with with a sprained MCL and is expected to "miss a few weeks," ESPN's Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport reported.

In response to Goedert's injury, the Eagles have since signed Zach Ertz.

Jaxson Dart injury update

Dart came down with a knee issue on Monday night and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report it's a sprained MCL.

That certainly beats what we all feared initially, but the issue could keep Dart out a handful of weeks.

Malik Nabers injury update

Nabers left the loss to the Los Angeles Rams briefly with a shoulder injury but was able to return and finish out the game.

Nabers told reporters he had to pop his shoulder back in and he's still due for tests, but judging from the fact he was able to come back in suggests he might be OK for Week 3.

RJ Harvey injury update

Harvey sat out Sunday with a hamstring injury, but given the fact he was able to log two limited practices last week and garnered a questionable tag, it would appear the second-year back has a good chance to return in Week 3.

Nico Collins injury update

Collins was missing in Week 2 due to his hamstring injury, which is considered a Grade 1 strain, according to Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston.com.

Wilson also noted that Collins isn't expected to play in Week 3, although head coach DeMeco Ryans did not officially rule him out.

"Still seeing how he progresses in his recovery," Ryans said of Collins.

Kyler Murray injury update

Murray was sidelined in Week 2 due to a concussion that he suffered on the third drive of the Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers.

On Monday, head coach Kevin O'Connell announced that Murray has cleared the concussion protocol and will start in Week 3.

Sam Darnold injury update

Darnold is still recovering from a glute injury he suffered in Week 1.

Head coach Mike Macdonald said Darnold is ahead of schedule in his recovery and revealed it's possible Darnold will practice this week, per ESPN's Brady Henderson.

"Right now, the plan is for him to be out there in some capacity, and we’ll go from there. How much, we’ll see from here to Wednesday on what that number is. But right now, that’s the goal," Macdonald said.

That at least gives Darnold a chance to return this week, although a Week 4 return seems more realistic at this point.
