New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel ignored reporters asking about quarterback Drake Maye and the offense right after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-3 on Sunday.

Answering reporters Ben Volin and Greg Bedard, Vrabel said that no one can ruin his Sunday.
“Just tryna win the game, Ben,” Vrabel said. “You’re not gonna ruin my Sunday, but I’ll come back to you tomorrow. Thanks, bud.”
Fans Call Out Mike Vrabel For Dodging Responsibility
On social media, fans poured out reactions to Vrabel for not answering questions at the press conference.

“Diana russini wouldn’t ask such a dumb question. Let her ask all the press questions,” another wrote.
“Guy just mad Diana isn’t the one asking him questions,” a fan wrote.
“Classless,” one commented.
“Cry baby vrabel cant handle a question?!?!? What a bitch,” another commented.
“Vrabel never deflects like that so yeah hes absolutely panicking about Maye,” another commented.
Talking about the Patriots’ season, podcaster Bill Simmons was also critical about Maye’s performance and Patriots’ shaky start in general. He believes Vrabel isn’t fully focused on the game. Simmons pointed out:
“Drake Maye has been a mess. He just has.”
Referencing the widely discussed controversy involving Vrabel and reporter Dianna Russini, Simmons added:
“Post-Sedona Mike Vrabel? I wouldn’t say he’s as crisp. There’s some clock management stuff that I’m like, ‘Oh, Vrabel doesn’t usually miss that stuff’.”
Against the Steelers, Maye threw for 208 yards and one interception, but the Patriots’ offense has only managed to score 20 points in the first two games. Injuries to receiver A.J. Brown and guard Mike Onwenu have made things even harder for the team, putting more pressure on Maye. Before tough away games against Jacksonville and Buffalo, the Patriots needed this win.
