Houston Rockets veteran Steven Adams warned NBA fans about a potential drop in performance across the league in November.
During Rockets media day, Adams reminded everyone that the highly anticipated GTA VI video game is dropping that month, which will most likely affect player performances across the NBA, NFL, and other leagues.
"I will say: You guys should anticipate November. The performance of the league...league wide. GTA is dropping. So look at NFL, look at all the leagues and watch them plummet mate," Adams joked.
"Just for the month of November performance is gonna go down, it should come back up...coaching as well," he added.
Adams returns to action after suffering a season-ending injury last season
The 33-year-old veteran center was forced to finish last season early after he underwent season-ending surgery on his left ankle last January.
Adams has been an important frontcourt enforcer for the Rockets this season, averaging 5.9 points and 8.6 rebounds in 22.7 minutes across 31 games.
This will be his third season with the Rockets after being traded to the team in 2024 from the Memphis Grizzlies.
Adams still has two guaranteed years left on his current contract with the Rockets, worth $13 million this season and around $11.8 million in the 2027-28 season.
