England Under-20s head coach Darren Moore has named his squad for the Young Lions’ three Euro Elite League fixtures during the September and October international window.

England will travel to Spain for their first games of the 2026-27 campaign, facing Italy on Friday, September 25, France on Tuesday, September 29, and Germany on Saturday, October 3.

All three matches will be played at Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano on the Costa Blanca. Liverpool midfielder Trey Nyoni has been included in the squad after making a strong impression for the Reds this season.

Nyoni did not need a full afternoon to strengthen his case during Liverpool’s victory over AFC Bournemouth last weekend. In just 29 minutes, the teenager provided the control, awareness and composure Andoni Iraola needed to protect a narrow lead.

The 19-year-old also made five defensive contributions, just one fewer than Alexis Mac Allister managed during his 90 minutes on the pitch.

Nyoni was previously linked with a move away from Anfield, with Nottingham Forest among the clubs reportedly interested. However, Iraola opted to keep the youngster in his squad, and that decision is already beginning to pay off.

The midfielder has impressed whenever called upon and has shown he can contribute defensively as well as in possession.

While Nyoni may still be too young to start every game, his recent form could earn him more opportunities as the season progresses.

Below is the full squad:

Goalkeepers: Finlay Herrick (West Ham United), Nicholas Michalski (Crawley Town, loan from Blackburn Rovers), Oliver Whatmuff (Stockport County, loan from Manchester City).
