MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) - Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love and his Hands of 10ve Foundation are donating $45,000 to aid recovery efforts in Menasha after severe storms and a tornado struck the Fox Cities in July.
The funds will be split evenly across three key community projects:
* **Smith Park playground:** $15,000 to the City of Menasha to help replace playground equipment destroyed in the storm.
* **Gegan Elementary School playground:** $15,000 to rebuild the school’s playground, which had just been updated in 2022 with accessible equipment before being destroyed.
* **Housing recovery:** $15,000 to the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity to support home repairs and new home builds for low-income families. The broader recovery plan aims to repair more than 300 homes and build over 30 new residences.
The donation comes on the heels of a $250,000 Packers Give Back Impact Grant announced by the team last week. Love founded the Hands of 10ve Foundation in 2024 to support youth sports access, mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and community-police relations.
