Liverpool are yet to lose a match this season going into the international break, and their Premier League title odds look a lot different than they did at the start of the campaign

Liverpool’s odds to win the 2026-27 Premier League title have taken new shape going into the international break.
The Reds are unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions to start the new season, including two wins and three draws in the Premier League, which currently puts them sixth in the table heading into the extended 16-day international break that officially began on Sept. 21.
While first-year manager Andoni Iraola will have plenty to be pleased about, there is still much to improve on in order to compete with the class of the Premier League and Champions League over the coming months.
Despite their relatively strong start, Liverpool’s odds to win the Premier League title have in fact tanked since the start of the new season.
They still rank third behind Arsenal and Manchester City, which is where they stood in the days leading up to Matchweek 1, but their betting odds look a lot different.
The Reds are now +1600 to lift the Premier League trophy, nearly triple the +600 price they had ahead of their first match against Newcastle on Aug. 23.
Fellow contenders Chelsea (+800 to +2500) and Manchester United (+700 to +5000) have also plummeted in price, while Brighton have now jumped into fifth in the outright market at +4000 odds.

As much as Liverpool’s quality of performances and run of draws may have played into their odds dropping as they did, it is more so about the overwhelming quality of Arsenal and Manchester City, who are nearly level atop the betting at +105 and +150, respectively.
Both squads began the domestic campaign with four wins from four before Arsenal’s stunning 3-0 defeat at Brighton in Matchweek 5. Now, City are the only team in the division to have won all five games so far in the new season.
Betting odds can change rapidly depending on each team’s results week to week, but at this stage of the season, oddsmakers do not believe Liverpool are on the same level as Arsenal and Manchester City.
Iraola’s men will have a chance to prove they are in their first match out of the international break on Oct. 11, when they host Manchester City. It will mark the first meeting between Iraola and City’s Enzo Maresca since they took on new manager roles over the summer.
That marks the first of seven matches in a 22-day span, the last of which falls on Sunday, Nov. 1 when Mikel Arteta and Arsenal pay a visit to Anfield.
