Yasin Ayari says Albion have to be in great physical shape to keep the intensity high in the Premier League.
And they are ready to maintain the sort of levels which saw them power past Arsenal.
The Seagulls earned widespread praise for the way they suffocated the Premier League champions for an emphatic 3-0 win at the Amex.
High demands in Albion training sessions have become well known since Fabian Hurzeler took charge a little more than two years ago.
Ayari in particular has made impressive progress under the current boss.
The Sweden international said: “That’s the goal. We want to play the way we played (against Arsenal), and you have to be fit to do that.
“We emphasise this every day and we train hard to be able to play like this.
“For me personally, yeah. I always try to train as hard as possible.
“I think the culture at the club is that everyone knows the standards they need to meet.
“When we started this summer, everyone was fit and had been doing their training over the summer.”
Albion have ten points from five games, to stand third in the Prem having also made progress in the Conference League and Carabao Cup.
But Ayari believes there is more to come as the campaign progresses.
He said: “We still want to go and win many more games and be more consistent.
“We want a good run now and we want to keep going.”
Ayari believes the way Albion knocked Arsenal out of their stride is a blueprint for the busy months to come.
He added: “You have to be intense. You have to be aggressive against teams like this if you want to win.

“If you give them too much time and they feel comfortable playing around, then it’s going to be hard.
“We have to put pressure on them, and we know that we’re a good team when we play with a lot of intensity.
“We’re taking it game by game and trying to win the next game. We don’t think too much about where we can finish.”
