Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green reveals that head coach Steve Kerr has a new role for him on their team.
Green explained on his podcast that Kerr is no longer showing favoritism towards him and Stephen Curry, but is also letting Draymond take more threes.
"Steve used to always tell us like 'Steph and Draymond gonna turn the ball over more than everybody else and I'm gonna give them room to turn the ball over' and he (recently) said to us 'Just an FYI, I'm no longer giving you guys a pass to turn the ball over more than everyone else'." he said.
"As far as shooting the 3, for the first time in my career, Coach Kerr told me towards the end of last year, 'I want you shooting the 3' and I was like 'oh shit', even when I was shooting the ball great, it was just something that I had never heard."

Green might be leaving the Warriors?
Kevin O'Connor recently suggested that a Draymond Green trade might be on the cards soon:
"This might be the time, like right now, we're gonna figure out what happens for the next future. I think by the trade deadline, we'll know 'this is gonna be tough.' And we could really fully be saying goodbye, right Draymond could be traded at the trade deadline," O'Connor started for Yahoo Live.
"Steph ain't going. Steph ain't going nowhere. Steph's a lifer. Plus, you gotta sell the tickets, man. Like, where you going? Steph is still one of the top experiences in the NBA just to take in, right? But if this thing doesn't work, they could make some decisions where you're like, 'Okay, we're gonna drastically change this thing. Jimmy Butler's on a one-year deal. Draymond Green's on a one-year deal.'
"They're openly saying, 'We have a hundred million in expiring contracts. We got flexibility.' That's the core players. And Klay's already gone. If Draymond leaves, there's a sense you could feel like they just might start this thing completely over."
Green played 70 games last season, averaging 8.3 points, 5.6 assists and 5.5 rebounds in almost 28 minutes per game.
