David Seaman suggests Arsenal have a player now worth over£200m

**Football transfer fees have gone to stratospheric levels in recent years.**

Once upon a time, the idea of a £100m player was nauseating, that was a price tag many thought would always be reserved for the best of the best.

However, in 2026, £100m only takes you so far. Teams such as West Ham, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have all sold players for over £100m in recent years, and that sort of fee isn’t all that shocking anymore.

That said, we are still waiting for the world’s first official £200m player, and according to [David Seaman](https://www.arsenalinsider.com/tag/david-seaman/), speaking to OLBG, Arsenal may well have a player who is worth that much in their squad right now.

David Seaman has been giving his verdict on numerous Premier League stars’ transfer values.

The Arsenal legend shared his thoughts on the likes of Declan Rice, Enzo Fernandez and Sandro Tonali all costing in excess of £100m.

The former goalkeeper was then asked what he thought of the idea that Bukayo Saka may be worth around £120m in this day and age. Seaman didn’t agree with that take, claiming that Saka may well be worth double the £120m pricetag that is attached to him by Jeff Stelling.

Seaman says that Saka is worth over £200m, and while that may sound ludicrous, it’s not that hard to make that argument about the winger, especially when you put it into context.

Not only is Saka arguably Arsenal’s best player, he’s still a young player with a long career ahead of him, and, on top of that, he is a homegrown talent that Arsenal fans love.

Saka is genuinely one of those rare players who may be untouchable on the transfer market, and while an offer of £200m would be tempting for Arsenal, even at that price point, they may consider rejecting a bid.
