Former Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey has challenged Alejandro Garnacho to prove his doubters wrong and get them to 'shut their mouths' as his struggles at Villa Park continue.
The 22-year-old winger has featured just three times for the Villans since signing on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer. All three of Garnacho's appearances have been from the bench in the Premier League with the Argentine yet to win over Unai Emery.
In fact, Garnacho has not featured for Villa since September 5, where he came on for the final 15-or-so minutes in the goalless draw with Hull City. The Blues loanee has been an unused substitute in Villa's last four games against Club Brugge, Nottingham Forest, Coventry City and Tottenham, respectively.

Heskey, formerly of Villa, has now challenged Garnacho to seize the opportunity as and when it is presented to him.
Speaking to Betarades, Heskey said: "With young players like Alejandro Garnacho, I would like to see less talking and more action. Less talking and more action, please.
"He is not a bad player, but I don't want to hear anything from him. I just want to see him playing football.
"Do it the simple way. Come play the game and love the game. We don't need the exaggerated celebration or anything. You need to show us why we are wrong and we should shut our mouths."

Garnacho cited Villa boss Unai Emery as a key factor in deciding to move to the West Midlands but so far, the Spaniard has not shown much faith in the former Manchester United youngster.
Chelsea reached an agreement with Villa back in July for the Argentine, with a conditional obligation to make the loan deal permanent next summer. Stamford Bridge sources are unable to disclose what those conditions are exactly but they have been described to football.london as 'straightforward'.
Emery, speaking recently about Garnacho's lack of minutes thus far, hinted the winger has a long-term future at Villa Park.
"We want him at the same level he was for Chelsea in the first part of last season and in Manchester two years ago," said Emery on Garnacho.
"He is a player we have signed for a long time, and we will help him to feel comfortable and confident to get his quality."
