Giants' Jaxson Dart revealed to have 'a few' injury timelines, none of them are good image
During Monday Night Football, the New York Giants saw four of their star players go down with injuries. Of the four, the injury to quarterback Jaxson Dart was, by far, the most concerning.
Initially, there was some optimism for Dart's injury. But the next day it was revealed there was more damage to his knee than anticipated, and he could miss most, if not all, of the 2026 season.
A day later, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network added more context to this injury, revealing that there are "a few" possible timelines for Dart's injury recovery, and none of them are good for the Giants' QB.

"Right now, sources are telling that there are a few timelines on the table, none of them very good, one of them season-ending for Jaxson Dart," Garafolo said.
This reporting is worrisome for the Giants, as no matter how they go about his recovery process, it's clear it's going to be a lengthy one.
Dart seems poised to land on Injured Reserve at some point, and the only question is how long he'll be out this season.
One of the possible outcomes is that Dart will miss the rest of the season. The Giants might be stuck with Jameis Winston for the rest of the season, as Dart's injury is very significant.

While Garafolo did report that it's not an ACL injury, the knee is still not in good shape, and Dart's slated to miss a large chunk of the season.
The details of Dart's injury aren't known just yet. He could try to rehab this knee injury and return late this season, like what Alec Pierce of the Indianapolis Colts is trying to do with his injury.
But there's obviously a lot of risk involved with that. Surgery might be what ends Dart's season, which is the worst-case scenario with this injury.
There are a few different timelines Dart could land on amid this knee injury recovery. Garafolo is reporting that none of those timelines are good, with one possible outcome being the season-ending injury that would effectively put an end to the Giants' season.
