Sweden head coach Graham Potter has indicated he is willing to start Liverpool top scorer Alexander Isak in all four games for his country during the international break.
Isak has had an impressive opening to the season with four goals in his first five Premier League games along with an assist in the Champions League win over Atletico Madrid.
The striker has already matched his goal contribution tally for the whole of last season when he was hampered by injury and lack of fitness following a British record £125million move from Newcastle United.
Isak, though, started five of six games for Sweden during the summer including all four at the World Cup where they were eliminated at the round of 32 stage by France.
And having made six starts already this season - and playing the full 90 minutes on three occasions - Isak is now being primed for regular outings in Sweden's forthcoming UEFA Nations League games against Romania home and away, Poland at home and Bosnia & Herzegovina away.
"It's not about rotating for the sake of rotating, as we want to win the games and try to play with our strongest team in every game," said Potter.
"Alex has played a lot of games lately, is in a good place and as I know him he wants to start games, but we need to see how everyone is, how they react and recover.
"Can Isak start every game? Potentially yes. But there's no chance (he will) play all the minutes."
Speaking at a media conference, Potter confirmed he had "not received any requests" from Liverpool regards Isak's playing time.
And Potter added: "It's hard to plan anything ahead. You have to focus on the next game and try to win it. It's not easy to win games and the next game is always the most important game."
