Gill Clark Gill Clark is the site manager of Barca Blaugranes and joined in 2017. She has worked in sports media as a writer and editor for the best part of two decades and has been in love with the beautiful game for as long as she can remember.
Barcelona have flown out of the blocks this season and made a sensational start to the 2026-27 campaign, winning all eight games and banging in 36 goals along the way.
Captain Raphinha has taken plenty of plaudits, and rightly so, but he’s not the only player to have impressed in the early weeks of the campaign.
New signings Rodri, Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi have also shone, while Lamine Yamal has continued to demonstrate his brilliance.
Young Xavi Espart has also enjoyed a great start to the campaign, while Spain stars Joan Garcia, Pau Cubarsi, Dani Olmo, Fermin Lopez and Eric Garcia have also been in great shape after a World Cup-winning summer.
