Former NBA All-Star shows concerns about the 76ers' LeBron James-led roster image
It is normal for people to be excited about the Philadelphia 76ers because of their fantastic 2026 offseason. They not only traded for Jaylen Brown, but they also managed to sign LeBron James in the final stretch of his career.
The 76ers have a huge 2026-27 season ahead of them because they now have championship aspirations. Any time a team has LeBron James on their roster, there is always a goal to compete for the title.
Jeff Teague is concerned about the LeBron James-led 76ers team
The 76ers are definitely one of the most exciting teams in the league because of their abundance of talent. However, it is also valid for people to be critical about their approach to playing in the league.
Naturally, too much star power can be a problem because they have to share the ball and the usage rate too. For former All-Star guard Jeff Teague, he thinks that will be the 76ers' primary issue.

Teague played in the NBA for a long time, and he has spent a lot of time analyzing the game as well. He has certainly seen teams like this struggle, with the most recent example being the Phoenix Suns when they had Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal.
"Have they ever played where they got to move the ball in a certain light, like Golden State had a brand of basketball where they shared the ball and their shooting was so elite that dribbling and ISO basketball was taking out. They rarely did ISO. All these dudes are isolation players," Teague said on his Club 520 podcast.
It is certainly a valid point, but it will be up to the 76ers players and head coach Nick Nurse to strike the right balance. There will surely be growing pains, but if Nurse and his players can find a way, they could still compete for the championship.
