Former Arsenal goalkeeper Neto has reportedly agreed to sign for European giants Juventus, one year on from leaving the Gunners.

The 37-year-old signed for Mikel Arteta's side on a season-long loan in 2024-25 and made just one appearance in that time.

He made his debut for the Gunners in their Champions League win over Girona, but they would be his only minutes for the club.

His departure from Arsenal in the summer of 2025 coincided with the end of his Bournemouth contract and he joined Brazilian side Botafogo on a two-year deal.

However, his contract at the Brazilian club was cut short following a string of errors and both parties agreed to terminate it in June this year mutually.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, the goalkeeper is set for a return to European football and will sign a short-term contract with Juventus.

The Old Lady are on the lookout for a new shot stopper after Kamil Grabara picked up a knee injury and is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament.

A statement from the club read: "Kamil Grabara underwent surgery this afternoon to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

"The procedure, performed at the Guardian Clinic in Konin by Dr Andrzej Pyda, in the presence of Juventus Club Doctor Dr Marco Freschi, was a complete success.

"The player will begin his rehabilitation programme in the coming days, with a view to returning to competitive action."

Neto will reportedly sign a deal until the end of the season, acting as a direct replacement for Grabara.
