The 2026 NFL season continues with Week 3 action, and Mirror U.S. Sports has highlighted three teams currently priced as underdogs who can pull off surprise victories

Another 16 NFL games are on tap in NFL Week 3, including three matchups between division rivals.
None of the eight remaining 2-0 teams in the NFL will face off against each other in Week 3, while there is just one game between two 0-2 teams, with the Houston Texans against the Indianapolis Colts.
Elsewhere, the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys head to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the second international game of the season, and the winless Los Angeles Chargers hope to avoid further disaster in an imposing test against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
Here, Mirror U.S. Sports highlights three NFL teams currently priced as underdogs to win in Week 3 who could surprise everyone and pull off a victory.
Denver Broncos (vs. Los Angeles Rams)
Denver, currently a 2.5-point underdog and +120 on the moneyline to beat Los Angeles, stumbled out of the gates in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs before rebounding with a 20-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.
The Broncos’ vaunted defense looked a lot more like it did in 2025 last Sunday, and the Rams’ high-powered offense could struggle at altitude, especially if Puka Nacua (hip) misses out again or is limited.
Denver’s defense will assuredly pose a tougher test for Matthew Stafford than the New York Giants did in Week 2.
The Broncos went 2-0 straight-up in games they were home underdogs in last season, and that trend can continue on SNF in Week 3.

Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Cincinnati Bengals)
Pittsburgh is a 3.5-point home underdog and +155 on the moneyline to hand Cincinnati its first loss of the season in Week 3.
The Bengals have averaged just 14 points per game in Pittsburgh over the last three years, so the Steelers defense does have a formula for success it can follow to squeeze out a low-scoring victory. Dating back to 2020, the regular-season series between these rivals is even at 6-6.
Weird things tend to happen when these two teams play each other, which might be the only saving grace for Pittsburgh amid its rough start to the season.
New England Patriots (at Jacksonville Jaguars)
While New England leaving Jacksonville with a win may come as a huge surprise, the Patriots do enter their Week 3 contest as 3-point underdogs and a +130 shot on the moneyline.
Drake Maye has not hit the ground running after his excellent 2025 season, so it will be up to the New England defense, which has allowed 16 total points through two weeks, to keep the visitors in this game.
Few expect the Patriots to replicate their perfect 8-0 road record from a year ago, but given the squad’s experience winning away from home, they have a good case to do it once again in Jacksonville on Sunday.
