The Bills signed defensive lineman to the practice squad ahead of Week 3. DL Austin Johnson joins Buffalo as a free agent addition.
Johnson previously played for Buffalo in 2024, recording 19 tackles and 0.5 sack in 15 games. The 6-foot-4, 314-pound lineman also recorded the first two interceptions of his career as a member of the Bills.
In 2025, Johnson played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and played in 14 games for last season's AFC South winners.
The Bills did not have to make a corresponding roster move after signing Johnson as OLB Andre Jones Jr. was signed off Buffalo's practice squad by Miami earlier this week.
