CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Deshaun Watson is hoping Browns fans will support him and the team in Sunday’s home opener against Carolina.
Watson played fairly well in last week’s 23-19 win at Tampa Bay.
This will be his first start in Cleveland since October of 2024, when some Browns fans appeared to be cheering as he lay injured on the ground.
He has also said he “doesn’t care” about the fans in the past and has blamed media for high expectations since he came to Cleveland and signed a $230 million contract.
He’s 10-11 as a starter with the Browns.
