Davante Adams flaunts Taco Bell purple card in interview with Kay Adams: 'One of the coolest flexes' image
Of all the honors in Davante Adams' career, there is one that stands above the rest.
The 33-year-old has enjoyed a Hall-of-Fame caliber career, collecting six Pro Bowls and three first-team All-Pro campaigns. He has kept his scorching displays going since landing with the Rams ahead of the 2025 season, posting a league-leading 14 touchdowns in his maiden season.
Adams has already gotten his hands on some of football's grandest accolades. And yet, it's a gift card — or more specifically, a Taco Bell purple card — that fills him with the most joy.

Davante Adams flaunts Taco Bell purple card
Adams' partnership with Taco Bell is well-documented at this point. He has been a fixture in the fast-food chain's commercials in recent years. The advertisement spots have centered largely around Adams having a Taco Bell inside of his house.
The relationship resulted in Taco Bell and Los Angeles collaborating to craft a "fan-first, immersive experience" at SoFi Stadium to welcome Adams — and legions of Taco Bell enthusiasts — to his new digs when he arrived ahead of the 2025 season.
Things appear to be going swimmingly between Adams and Taco Bell in 2026. In an interview with Kay Adams, the Rams wideout called the purple card he was gifted by the company as one of his "coolest flexes."
"There it is. And it's got my name on the back, so if anybody tries to rob me, you'll never be able to use it," Adams said. "This purple card is basically like a black card, but it's purple and only can be used at Taco Bell, it is unlimited.

"I can go in there and buy, $7 million worth of Taco Bell today if I wanted, and go have a Taco Bell party."
Adams said he is a part of elite company when it comes to purple-card holders. Only one other person has the device, per Adams.
So, just who is the other person that shares that honor with Adams? That would be famed comedian Kevin Hart, who showed off his prized possession in a video released on social media last month.
Adams is nothing if not a committed entrepreneur. He'd do well to be wary of the taco sometimes, though. After all, the fast-food company has a history with product recalls related to concerns over food safety.
