The LSU–Ole Miss game from this past Saturday was a blast to watch.
Ole Miss started fast, taking a 24-7 lead into halftime before LSU stormed back to tie the game at 24 in the fourth quarter. Ole Miss then took a 32-24 lead before LSU drove down the field late in the fourth quarter.

However, Ole Miss intercepted LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt in the end zone, avenging itself against former head coach Lane Kiffin. Kiffin took the LSU job on Nov. 30 of last year after leading Ole Miss to an 11-1 regular-season record.
Kiffin spoke to the media this week about the loss and called the matchup for Ole Miss “their Super Bowl.”
“Their Super Bowl, all the stuff around it, all the energy in the stadium, everything, and we’re right there at the end with multiple chances to win the game. You gotta learn from that & finish,” Kiffin said, via Jon Blau of The Advocate/Times-Picayune.

It probably wasn’t the first thing he should’ve said, since Ole Miss won and is now 3-0 going into this Saturday’s game against Florida. If LSU had completed the comeback, it would have had a bit more flair.
Meanwhile, LSU has another huge game on the docket this Saturday when it will host Texas A&M. Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
