Hornets games will be shown across North and South Carolina this season on free, over-the-air TV as part of “new broadcast agreements in the states’ eight main media markets outside Charlotte.” The Hornets and primary partner Gray Media disclosed plans to air 75 of the team’s 82 regular season games this season on stations in Columbia; Charleston; Greenville-New Bern; Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville-Anderson; Myrtle Beach and Wilmington. Gray-owned WDBJ and WZBJ will “share Hornets games in the Roanoke, Virginia, market, expanding the Hornets’ territory.” Stations owned by Sinclair Inc. will show Hornets games in the Piedmont Triad and in the Triangle. Financial terms of the three one-year deals unveiled by the Hornets during the past month have not been disclosed. All the station groups will carry about 75 games, though “that number could shift slightly if the NBA’s national media rights holders select more Hornets games.” For now, six Hornets games are scheduled for national telecasts and streaming. Hornets Chief Business & Revenue Officer **Mike Behan** said that the Hornets will “share ad sales with Gray Media and Sinclair” ([_CHARLOTTE BUSINESS JOURNAL, 9/23_](https://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/news/2026/09/23/gray-media-sinclair-hornets-nba-cox-media-group.html)).
