Raiders get good news on Brock Bowers' chances to play in Week 3 image
The Las Vegas Raiders are off to a 2-0 start this season, and they've done it without their top playmaker on offense, Brock Bowers.
Their defense has stepped up, and on offense, Ashton Jeanty and Tre Tucker have done a good job through two weeks. Now, heading into Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, the Raiders got some good news on Bowers.
According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the odds of Bowers suiting up in Week 3 look strong, with the star tight end "more likely" that he's going to play this weekend than not.

"Being 2-0, of course, gives the Raiders a cushion and justifies waiting to be sure on Bowers if there's anything at all that bothers him in practice this week," Graziano writes. "But my sense is that it's more likely he plays this week than not."
While this report from Fowler didn't reveal that Bowers is going to be active in Week 3 for the Raiders' matchup against the Saints, it does reveal his chances are looking good.

Las Vegas is 2-0 without Bowers, and now they're getting their star tight end back with a chance to get to 3-0 on the season against a Saints team that has one of the most potent passing offenses in the NFL.
The Raiders will need to score a lot to beat the Saints, and Bowers' return would provide the spark this passing offense needs to beat the Saints.
Nothing is confirmed yet, as Bowers could still wind up being out for this Week 3 matchup if there are any lingering concerns. But, for now, it's looking likely that Bowers will be suiting up on Sunday, playing in Week 3 against the Saints.
