The Cleveland Cavaliers are ready for a shout-out from Taylor Swift following her album announcement on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Swift shared that she will be releasing “Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,” a deluxe version of the project she released last year, which contains a song titled “Cleveland!” — a nod to Travis Kelce's home city.
The NBA team's social media shared a slow-mo video of the pop star and Kelce when they attended Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals last season. They shared a snapshot of her new album cover and wrote, “Keepin' it [100 emoji] in the Land, always. #LetEmKnow,” referencing the city and the singer's upcoming song.
In addition to “Cleveland!,” the singer will add four more songs on the deluxe titled: “Patient Zero,” “Pink Clouding,” and “Babylon.”
Swift shared on Instagram how thankful she was that her fans resonated with the album.
“About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history,” she wrote in the caption. “I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album. Really we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs.”
She added: “I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made. ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore' including four new songs is out on Friday and available to pre-order and save now.”
The album cover features Swift in a gold fringe dress with matching heels and her signature red lipstick.
During award season, Swift walked away with seven awards at the iHeart Radio Music Awards, including major categories like Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. Since the album was released on October 3, 2025, it fell outside the eligibility window for the 2026 Grammy Awards but can be awarded at the 69th Annual Grammy Awards which will take place live on Sunday, February 7, 2027, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
