Raiders rookie earns league award after spectacular starting debut
Brock Bowers was a limited participant in practice Wednesday for the Las VegasRaiders, according to the injury report, as he works his way toward his season debut after a late-preseason left meniscus procedure.
The former All-Pro tight end didn’t play in Week 1 and Week 2 wins over the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.
The Raiders play the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at the Caesers Superdome.
Week 1 starting cornerback Darien Porter also returned to practice on a limited basis after missing Week 2 with a foot injury. Starting linebacker Nakobe Dean was limited with a shoulder injury, as was defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi. Wide receiver Dareke Young was limited with a hamstring injury.
Starting safety Treydan Stukes is in the concussion protocol and didn’t practice. Third-string quarterback Aidan O’Connell didn’t attend practice for personal reasons.
