Emily Fox signs new Arsenal contract

Arsenal right-back Emily Fox has extended her contract with the club. The US international joined from North Carolina Courage in January 2024 and her previous deal was set to expire at the end of this season. Arseblog News understands this is a three year-contract.

There was significant ($$$) interest from the NWSL in the player over the summer which was given short shrift by the club. ‘I’m so happy to be extending my stay here,” said Emily. “This has felt like home since the moment I joined, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue to represent this club and compete for titles. To be a part of Arsenal is to be a part of something bigger, and I feel like I’m in the best place to keep pushing for more.’

Fox was a key member of the side that won the UEFA Champions League in 2024/25 and the 28-year-old also lifted the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup during her time at the club. She won the Gold medal at the 2024 Olympics with the US too.

Fox has been included in the PFA Women’s Super League and the UEFA Women’s Champions League Team of the Year in both of her two full seasons with the club. Emily was also nominated for the Ballon d’Or in 2025 and has 78 caps for the US.
