Goalkeeper awards in September are usually a single clip. Two from the same man in the same shortlist means the month was built on stops as much as on goals.
A tip over the bar in London and a penalty pushed onto the post in the north-east is the sort of pair that gets a vote page of its own.
Fans have until Monday to pick one of them. The other keepers on the list each have one.

Two of David Raya’s saves have been nominated for the Premier League Save of the Month. The first came in the 2-1 home win over Chelsea, the second in the 2-0 victory at Sunderland.
Against Chelsea, Estevao cut inside and curled towards the top corner. Raya tipped it over and kept Arsenal in front.
At the Stadium of Light a week later, Enzo Le Fee’s penalty was struck low and hard. Raya turned it onto the post. Two minutes after that, Bruno Guimaraes scored the opener, a strike that is up for Goal of the Month.

🚨David Raya is the only goalkeeper in history to be nominated twice in the same month for Premier League Save of the Month.
And he’s now done it twice…
He was nominated twice in August 2024 for his saves against Wolves and Aston Villa.

Four other goalkeepers are on the shortlist. Dean Henderson’s stop to deny Fulham’s Timothy Castagne in Crystal Palace’s 3-2 win at Craven Cottage. Gianluigi Donnarumma’s last-minute save from Bryan Mbuemo in the Manchester derby. Alisson’s reflex stop against Bournemouth. Bernd Leno’s parry to keep out Mbuemo for Fulham.
Voting is open on the Premier League website until 12pm on Monday 28 September. Supporters can back either of Raya’s clips.
The Spanish keeper has started the title defence in the same vein as last season: first choice, high line, and the last barrier when the press is broken. He is with Spain this week, alongside Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi, for Nations League games that begin against England at Wembley on Saturday.
Arsenal have no league fixture until Leeds on 10 October. The award is a sideshow, but it is also a record of the two results that kept them in touch before Brighton.
One nomination would have been recognition. Two means September’s best saves conversation runs through the same gloves twice. The vote decides whether one of those nights becomes the official clip of the month.
