The Bulls announced their local-TV broadcast plans for the season Thursday, including a rotation of analysts who will share the job of replacing the late Stacey King.
Play-by-play voice Adam Amin will be joined by Kendall Gill, Robbie Hummel, Will Perdue, Bill Wennington and Scott Williams. The Sun-Times had reported this month on the Bulls’ plan to rotate analysts. Since then, radio analyst Wennington was added to the group.
King, who died June 7 at his home in River Forest, had been the Bulls’ TV analyst for 20 years, entertaining fans with his humor, wit and trademark sayings. The Bulls think a rotation will ease the pressure on the analysts and serve as an audition for the permanent job.
Gill also will be on the Chicago Sports Network studio team with host Cam Smith and reporter K.C. Johnson. CHSN will air all five Bulls preseason games and 80 regular-season games. All home games will be available in 4K.
Bulls radio voice Chuck Swirsky and Wennington return to call games on The Score, which will carry three preseason games and every regular-season and postseason game. Alyssa Bergamini returns to host the station’s postgame show.
