Thursday night has been a nightmare for the Green Bay Packers against the Atlanta Falcons at Lambeau Field, and it appears to have gone somehow worse, with linebacker Edgerrin Cooper entering the blue tent in the second half.
“Just when things couldn't get worse, Edgerrin Cooper just jogged into the blue medical tent on #Packers sidelines,” Ryan Wood of USA Today shared via a social media post on X.
Cooper was then later spotted leaving the sidelines and walking to Green Bay's locker room, as seen here in a video shared by Carson Fowler of WFRV Local 5.

The Packers also announced that the former Texas A&M Aggies star “is being evaluated for a concussion,” via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.
Before Cooper left, he had recorded six total tackles (two solo tackles) with a tackle for loss.
It has been a rough night for Green Bay overall, with the Packers defense showing the same resistance as a wet cardboard in the face of the Falcons' incredible attack led by running back Bijan Robinson.
For Cooper, he is dealing with another concerning injury after appearing on Green Bay's injury report in all three practice sessions heading into the meeting with Atlanta.
A second-round pick (45th overall) by the Packers in the 2024 NFL Draft, the 24-year-old Cooper entered Thursday with 2.0 sacks with 15 combined tackles and two quarterback hits. His status for Week 3's game between Green Bay and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa is one to monitor.
