Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola has plenty to ponder during the international break after has been a decent start from his side - albeit with some obvious areas for improvement.
Iraola remains unbeaten since taking charge of the Reds, but there are signs that his team is still trying to get to grips with his style - and some players, like Florian Wirtz, are still struggling to find their feet.
Having gone all in on Bradley Barcola during the summer, Liverpool may look to the January window to strengthen Iraola’s options - but it also needs to ensure it keeps hold of its brightest prospects.
Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today.
Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool)
Rio Ngumoha is going nowhere, according to Italian transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who insists that Liverpool won’t sell the teenager to any of its rivals.
Ngumoha has been linked with Arsenal in recent weeks, although his current club is eager to extend his contract. The young winger is currently signed up until 2028, having signed his first professional deal just last year.
Di Marzio though doesn’t expect Liverpool to entertain any interest in him, telling Rekatochklart.com: "I don't think Liverpool will sell Ngumoha to Arsenal.

“He's a player they want to keep, and they won't sell him to a rival, especially a young talent, because they are in a new era, new coach, new players. So I think they want to have him as a part of the future of the Reds."
Liverpool.com says: Let's hope he's right. With Julian Ward set to be reappointed as the club's sporting director, his first job should be to tie Ngumoha down to a new contract - Liverpool cannot let him join one of its rivals.
Tyler Morton (Lyon)
Liverpool is monitoring former midfielder Tyler Morton as a sensational return to Anfield is being touted by TeamTalk.
Morton left Liverpool last summer and joined French side Lyon in a deal that could reach $20 million, while the Reds are also said to have a sell-on clause.

Having impressed since leaving Anfield, it’s now claimed that Liverpool is keeping tabs on the 23-year-old, although it’s far from alone in that supposed interest. Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Brighton are all said to be monitoring his performances, while Newcastle, Sunderland and Everton are also said to be watching him.
Liverpool.com says: Morton has been impressive since joining Lyon, and he would offer something to Liverpool that it is sorely lacking in midfield, given he does generally play in a deeper role.
It would be a surprise to see the Reds make a move to bring him back now though. He's certainly worth keeping an eye on, but we can't see this happening any time soon.
