Shaun Wright-Phillips believe his former club Chelsea have the best attacking trio in the Premier League as it stands.
Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro, who cost the west London club just over £219million in accumulated transfer fees in recent seasons, have started the season off spectacularly for the Blues. Between the front three in the Premier League, they have scored a total of eight goals. That is 80% of Chelsea's goals in the top-flight since the start of the campaign.
They have quickly established themselves as one of the most-feared attacking threesomes in the division. Former Chelsea winger Wright-Phillips thinks they might actually be the current best in England.

When asked by Betway if Chelsea have the best front three in the league, Wright-Phillips said: "Definitely. I'll definitely put them up there in the top attackers in the Premier League for this season.
"Cole Palmer, you know what he's like, I won't say he's similar to [Rayan] Cherki, because he can handle the wing side I think better than Cherki, but he's great. His creativity is something else.
"I saw his goal against Leeds the other night, where he goes to volley it, but he feints his body and just kind of passes it around him. He's an unbelievable player.
"Everybody saw what Morgan Rogers could do at Aston Villa, and for him to go to Chelsea with a lot more attacking players around him of his standards and understanding makes a hell of a difference.

"I don't think people on the outside will ever get how much of a difference it makes, but it makes a hell of a lot of difference.
"So, for him to be in that position, you can see him oozing with confidence, like the goal against Arsenal. He just thought, 'I'm going to have a try.' Whereas at Aston Villa, he might not have done that just in case the keeper catches it and they get caught on the break.
"Joao Pedro, he's just special, isn't he? How he didn't go to the World Cup, I honestly have no clue. But he's a fun player to watch as well. So yeah, I'll definitely put them up there."
Palmer's start to the season has pleased everyone at Stamford Bridge after a disappointing, injury-troubled 2025/26 campaign for the 24-year-old. Wright-Phillips thinks Palmer needs freedom on the pitch in order for Chelsea to get the best version of the versatile attacker.
The former Blues winger said: "His best position is to let him be free. Let him be able to express himself.

"And people have asked me that question before and I always say, 'well, Alonso got the best out of Florian Wirtz.' So, if he knows how to make Wirtz play, he knows how to make Cole Palmer play.
"If he builds up that team, especially when Moises Caicedo comes back in that midfield, that frees Palmer up a little bit more.
"He's started off on fire and normally, when you have players like that that start off with goals and assists, they tend to continue that way. So, his confidence will be sky high now."
Xabi Alonso will be hoping to field Palmer, Rogers and Joao Pedro for when Bournemouth come to Stamford Bridge on October 10. Palmer, however, pulled out of England duty this international break due to a muscular injury, while Joao Pedro did the same with a knee problem.
