Manchester City have finally been found guilty of all but one of the 115 charges brought against them by the Premier League.
City have been involved in a long legal battle with the Premier League for financial breaches between the period of 2009 and 2018.
Liverpool supporters have had eyes on the case ever since its beginning, with one potential sanction seeing City stripped of their Premier League titles during the nine-year period. And after the guilty verdict was reached on Friday, it was confirmed that this could really happen.

Man City could be stripped of 2013/14 Premier League title
The reporting on Friday’s decision has come from The Athletic, who detail the potential punishments which City could receive.
It is claimed that no sanctions have yet been agreed upon, but that points deductions, simple fines and even stripping of titles remains on the table.
This could mean that Liverpool are awarded the 2013/14 crown, when Brendan Rodgers’ team came second to City after a surprise, Luis Suarez inspired decision.
Alternatively, it could also be that the title win is simply null and void, meaning City are not officially recognised as winners, but no other club are either.
It is unclear when a decision will be reached on how the Citizens will be punished, but Liverpool fans have every reason to keep up to date, with the possibility that Steven Gerrard might just win himself a Premier League winners’ medal after all.
