The Baltimore Ravens will take on the Dallas Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in Week 3. Leading up to the contest, Baltimore received crucial injury updates for Nnamdi Madubuike and Ronnie Stanley.
Reports indicate that Madubuike will play for Baltimore on Sunday, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network. It will be his first appearance in a game in over a year after suffering a season-ending neck injury in the 2025-26 campaign. Meanwhile, Stanley has been ruled out due to a toe injury. Zay Flowers is deemed questionable in the report.
“Nnamdi Madubuike is good to go for the Ravens,” Garafolo reported. “Set to play in his first game in over a calendar year… Ravens WR Zay Flowers questionable after a limited practice. T Ronnie Stanley is out.”
Getting the 28-year-old defensive lineman back from injury should give the Ravens a nice boost on defense. He's proven to be solid throughout his first six years in the NFL, having recorded 203 combined tackles (124 solo), 30 sacks, 42 tackles for a loss, and two forced fumbles through 78 career games played (66 starts).
However, not having Ronnie Stanley could prove to be an issue for the offense. The 11-year veteran has been a consistent starter for Baltimore throughout his entire career since being picked in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. His absence will be something the Cowboys will likely try to take advantage of in Week 3.
Sunday's game will be the first NFL game hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the third game ever played in the country. There are concerns about the condition of the field, which has led to some controversy, but the matchup will play out regardless.
