Tucker Kraft And Packers Fans Go At It After Loss
Lambeau Field is one of the most recognizable stadiums in the NFL, and hearing Packers fans turn on their own team is still a relatively rare sight.
That changed Thursday night.
The Green Bay Packers were booed by their home crowd during a disappointing performance against the Atlanta Falcons, giving up 35 points to a team had scored 16 points all season. The frustration inside Lambeau was impossible to miss, particularly during the Packers’ home opener.
Fourth-year tight end Tucker Kraft didn’t exactly hide his feelings about the reaction.
Kraft, who was putting together a strong 2025 season before suffering a torn ACL in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers, said the boos were disappointing and argued that the team would benefit more from having the home crowd behind them.
“That’s pretty tough. Like everyone pictures Lambeau Field and not boos. I don’t picture boos. I picture my home stadium. That’s tough. It’s pretty disappointing, especially for a home opener. It’s pretty disappointing. It’s not going to help us win.”
Kraft went on to question what fans hoped to accomplish by booing the team.
“Like I don’t know what people think that’s going to rally us or something like that. But that’s — we’re grown men. We’re mentally strong enough, capable enough to get back on the field and play ball. But it’d probably be much easier with the 70,000 people behind us rather than opposing us.”

Kraft’s comments didn’t exactly receive a warm reception from Packers fans online.
Several fans pushed back on the tight end’s criticism, arguing that the crowd had every right to voice its frustration after watching the Packers struggle throughout the night. Others accused Kraft and the team of being “soft” for taking issue with the boos.
For a franchise that has enjoyed plenty of success at Lambeau Field, Thursday night’s atmosphere was certainly unusual. The Packers will now have to respond on the field, where the quickest way to silence the criticism will be to start winning again.
