The next step up the England ladder for young Leeds United forward Harry Gray.

Young Leeds United forward Harry Gray has taken the next step up the England youth system ladder with a new level debut alongside star of the show Max Dowman.

Gray, younger brother of former Whites star Archie, has progressed through United’s Academy but also through the England youth system ranks from under-15s to under-17s level.

The 17-year-old striker who is currently on loan at Sheffield Wednesday was then named in boss Ben Futcher’s England under-19s squad for four friendlies during the extended September and October international break, starting with Friday’s clash against the Republic of Ireland at St George’s Park.

Gray was named on the bench for the contest but the striker was brought on for his England under-19s debut as he replaced Reigan Heskey in the 61st minute.

The contest was goalless at the time of Gray’s introduction but young Arsenal star Max Dowman then bagged the only goal of the game in the 70th minute to seal a 1-0 win for his side.
