Event details: Game4Hope is a high-profile charity match that sets aside local rivalries to bring iconic sports figures together on one pitch. The event features a combined Everton and Liverpool team, Merseyside XI, taking on an international squad of footballing legends, Rest of the World XI.

The cause: All funds raised will directly benefit two charitable organisations, Everton in the Community and Shelter. These proceeds will support vital community programs and help combat homelessness across Merseyside and surrounding areas.

Location of the match: The fixture was originally scheduled to take place at Everton's new home, Hill Dickinson Stadium. But instead, the inaugural edition of this charity match will be staged at Goodison Park, the Toffees' former ground.

Game timings: The event takes place on Saturday, September 26. Pre-match coverage begins early, with official kick-off scheduled for 4:45pm.

How to watch: Fans across the UK can watch the match live on free-to-air television on Channel 5 starting at 4pm. The game can also be streamed online via the My5 platform.

Merseyside XI roster: Captained by Tim Cahill and jointly managed by Peter Reid and John Barnes, the Merseyside XI includes legends like Robbie Fowler, Leighton Baines, Gareth Barry and David James.

Rest of the World XI roster: The Rest of the World XI is captained by Brazilian legend Rivaldo and boasts global icons such as Cafu, Clarence Seedorf, Jaap Stam and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
