Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been the most prolific chance creator in European football’s leading leagues over the last three years. As much has this week been confirmed by the statistics.
Winger Lamine has of course long established himself as the standout young talent across the globe. From his berth on Barcelona’s right flank, the Spanish international has spent several years now terrorising opposing backlines with an elite combination of touch, dribbling, vision, passing and goalscoring.
Lamine’s best quality is still up for debate, with the 19-year-old, despite his tender years, having already mastered so many different aspects of the game.
And one such ability, as alluded to above, has this week given rise to an altogether noteworthy statistic. The info comes courtesy of Squawka, who have revealed that Lamine has created more big chances than any other player in Europe’s top-5 leagues since 2023/24.
The Barcelona prodigy leads the way with a total of 76, ahead of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes in 2nd.
