Arsenal have been made aware that Barcelona’s Dani Olmo could be available during the January transfer window, according to reports.

TEAMtalk claim that intermediaries have “contacted” the Gunners, and the rest of the Premier League “Big Six” to ascertain whether they would be interested in signing the World Cup winner.
Barca are said to be willing to listen to offers for Olmo in January, although his price tag may well put off some suitors.
The 28-year-old is still deemed an important player by head coach Hansi Flick, but the German has only started him in 2 of the Catalan club’s 7 league matches so far this season.
There is fierce competition for places in Barca’s front four, with Flick also having Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Fermin Lopez and Gabriel Jesus at his disposal.
Would Olmo be a good fit for Arsenal?
The short answer is ‘probably no’. The Spanish international can play out wide, which could make him a potential candidate to strengthen the left flank.
However, Olmo isn’t particularly quick, and his preferred position is No.10. That is not an area where manager Mikel Arteta is short of options, with captain Martin Odegaard, Eberechi Eze and Max Dowman all coveting that role.
