Bayern Munich are eyeing a surprise move to sign Everton star Jordan Pickford in 2027, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The German giants have had a near-perfect start to their season with three wins from their four Bundesliga games, while they have also progressed in the DFB Pokal, won the German Super Cup, and won their opening Champions League game of the campaign.
Everton, meanwhile, have had a strong start to the season in England too, going unbeaten in their opening five Premier League games, while also progressing to the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

The Toffees are looking to build after a disappointing summer transfer window which left them with a razor-thin squad, as David Moyes saw a late move to sign a new striker collapse despite Beto joining Fiorentina.
But now it has emerged that he could be set to lose another first-team star in Pickford,
Writing on his Patreon, journalist Nixon reports that Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany has been gathering reports from people he knows about Pickford, as they prepare for life without the iconic Neuer, who is out of contract at the end of this season.
It's understood that Pickford has now moved ahead of Brighton star Bart Verbruggen on their list of targets to replace the 40-year-old.
Pickford is under contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium until 2029, having signed a new deal last year, and is understood to be one of the best paid goalkeepers in the Premier League as a result of that contract. However, Nixon states that the England star would be tempted by a move to Munich to finally play Champions League football and have a chance at lifting some silverware.

Everton have gone through the trenches in recent years on and off the pitch, but Pickford has been a consistent figure in the squad, earning himself legendary status on Merseyside.
But in a career that has seen many describe him as one of England's greatest ever goalkeepers, he is missing playing regularly at the very highest level and the trophies to go with that status.
A move to Bayern Munich to replace one of the best goalkeepers of all-time could be an opportunity that is far too big to pass up for him, but Everton must do everything they can to ensure he goes nowhere.
Not only would his exit be a massive blow for the Toffees on the pitch and in the changing room, but he would be near impossible to replace at this stage. Goalkeepers as good as him belong at the very top of the game, so finding someone as good would be a huge task. Judging by Everton's transfer business in recent years, it's something that just wouldn't happen.
